Gjallarhorn is a small, tight-knit community of friends that have known each other for quite a long time. Primarily, we play games together, talk about random nonsense, and have fun.
While under a different name, our community has its roots in RuneScape, around the year 2009-2010. Then, we had around 50 members total, but due to real-life circumstances, a general decline in the interest of the game, and a few other factors, we quickly dissolved to just a few loyal members.
After an extended hiatus, our community entered the World of Warcraft scene, where we peaked at around 500 members. Despite this high number, our activity overall was not what we had hoped it would be. While we accomplished many of our goals, internal conflicts amongst the community officers eventually created a void and we temporarily shut down. An attempt was made to revive the World of Warcraft component under, yet again, a different name, but we quickly found disinterest in the game, and as such, that component was dissolved, after a general consensus from the majority of our active members at the time.
Now, with any major recruitment currently on hiatus, we currently are active within the ArmA 3 Milsim community, with a unit that runs missions on our community server. We're a pretty loose fit, as we mostly goof around and have fun.
We don't know what the future has in store for Gjallarhorn, but we do know that we aren't going anywhere. We hope to have you along for the ride.
